Loving Kindness: From Contentiousness to Contentment

2 Day Weekend Retreat

May 1st – May 2nd 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

In the practice of Loving Kindness [metta] meditation, we get in touch with the kindness, joy and gratitude that are inherent in our being, but that sometimes are obscured by day-to-day busyness and anxieties.

Through practising metta, we begin to develop an attitude of friendliness and non-contentiousness toward ourselves and others. We learn to see ourselves as we are, not as we would like to be. With patience and tenderness, we learn to open our hearts to the predicament of being human.
