Mental Health Housing Support Worker Permanent Full Time Contract – HAIL

HAIL is an Approved Housing Body with a strong reputation in providing both quality housing and floating support services to people with mental health difficulties in their own homes across Dublin, Kildare, Portlaoise, Offaly, Limerick, and Louth. HAIL’s vision is to be the provider of choice for housing and support for people with mental health difficulties, enabling them to achieve and sustain independent living in the community by having secure, quality, affordable accommodation with appropriate support services tailored to their needs.

The initial project is funded under the National Housing Strategy for People with a Disability with a remit to support those transitioning from medium support HSE residences to independent accommodation.

As the Mental Health Housing Support Worker, you will provide ongoing support to all tenants of a practical Housing nature e.g.  rents/arrears/budgeting/transfers/maintenance/allocations & interviews/tenants rights etc.

You will also offer formalised ongoing recovery and social inclusion-focused interventions to clients living with a mental health diagnosis.

Location will be Covering all of Regional Health Area B, plus Ardee, with periodic travel to Dublin

Initial Project: Covering Portlaoise, Tullamore, Longford & Ardee

(Approx. 2 years)

Flexibility will be required thereafter due to business expansion

Salary: €33,000-€41,000 Starting Point Dependent on Experience
This is a full-time post, 35 hours per week

9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
