The National Health & Social Care Professionals Office is Seeking your Assistance

The National Health & Social Care Profesionals Office team is developing a repository to support the collation and sharing of information amongst the Health & Social Care Professionals community, as we work through this pandemic.  The intention is to avoid duplication of effort by locating relevant HSCP information, in a central repository in an easily accessible location, over the coming days. We are writing to seek your assistance please.

The National Health & Social Care Professionals Office team is developing a repository to support the collation and sharing of information amongst the Health & Social Care Professionals community, as we work through this pandemic.  The intention is to avoid duplication of effort by locating relevant HSCP information, in a central repository in an easily accessible location, over the coming days. We are writing to seek your assistance please.

In the first instance, the repository will include:

  • eHealth / digital-related material to support HSCP who are

o   beginning to deliver services virtually

o   testing ways of working virtually with colleagues

(The eHealth HSCP Advisory Group will be working with the National HSCP Office to develop this section.)

  • HSCP tools/resources  – for supported self-management and home programmes, where vulnerable service users/patients are cocooned / receiving virtual care.

We would be grateful if you could share any HSCP tools/resources you have developed/are aware of that would be transferable to other HSCP services and suitable for this central repository.

Examples of material received so far includes self-management videos/assessment checklists/HSCP home programmes/resources in handout form etc.

All material should be sent to alison.enright@hse.ie or @alisonenright2 (twitter).

Please circulate this email to colleagues as you consider appropriate.

Thank you in advance and we will be in touch soon with further information about access to the repository from the National HSCP office.
