Social Care Ireland (SCI) is the professional representative body for the social care profession in Ireland. Within SCI there is a designated CPD Coordinator. Their role is to complete a training needs analysis with its members on an annual basis. This can take into account what new practices or models of care are being developed or implemented into practice. Social Care Ireland work in conjunction with the National Health and Social Care Professionals office. They part fund the facilitation of some training events and workshops. The advantage, of not only, being called a Social Care Worker but coming under the umbrella of the national Health and Social Care Professional’s office means you can also avail of interdisciplinary events. We need to gather this information so we can plan for next years CPD events, workshops and conferences. We really appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey. It will be open until 11th December 2020.
We would like to thank everyone that gave us some feedback on this years Training Needs Analysis, especially Sarah Donnelly (UCD) and Niamh Flanagan (Maynooth University).
