Vacancy- Social Care Leader Supported Housing- Cluain Mhuire Community Mental Health Services

Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult Psychiatric service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 195,000 people approximately. The supported housing component assists approximately 100 people to live their lives independently in their own homes with an appropriate practical level of social care support from the service.

Social Care Leader – Supported Housing
Full-Time, Permanent Post

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above post. Candidates must, at the latest date for receipt of completed application forms for the post possess:

Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Social Care Studies awarded by a recognised body (Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
Or
Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree in Social Care awarded by a recognised body (Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
Or
Diploma in Applied Social Studies / Social Care from DIT
Or
Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree in Social Care Practice awarded by a recognised body (Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
Or
Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Social Studies (Disabilities) awarded by a recognised body (Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications) or the National Diploma in Applied Social Studies (Disabilities), The Open Training College (HETAC Accredited)
Or
An equivalent social care qualification from another jurisdiction
And
5 years post qualification experience with 3 of those working in mental health
And
The requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
