Jacqui McCann- Manager Member of the Board

Jacqui McCann, Is the Person in Charge of Crannóg Nua Special Care Service, Tusla. She has worked for over 18 years in Crannóg Nua as both a High support and Special care service.

For the last 5 years Jacqui has worked nationally as part of the referral committee for Special Care. Jacqui has a BA (Hons) in Social Care and in 2020 gained an MSc in Leadership in Healthcare.

In 2018 the Special Care Regulations came into effect under the Health Act 2007 and Jacqui has maintained registration and compliance with HIQA since this date.

Jacqui is also a therapeutic crisis intervention (TCI) trainer and has a particular interest in the management of behaviours that challenge. In 2017, Jacqui began working closely with childcare consultant Stuart Mullholland on the implementation of the Welltree Model of Care and Outcomes Framework in Crannóg Nua.

To date, Jacqui has the Wellbeing measures for over 60 young people in their progress through Special Care.
