This full day workshop is a collaboration between Barnardos and the IASW. It will be facilitated by Áine Costello and Miriam McAuliffe from Barnardos’ and puts a focus on the perspectives of children living with CDVA. It will address three key areas:

  • Taking the time to reflect on what children are sharing about their lived experiences of CDVA
  • How to apply to your role, what we’ve learned from children about their experiences, to better support them
  • Barnardos’ approach to CDVA and how you can engage with a community-coordinated approach in responding to children and families

The workshop is open to all professionals working with children and families to reflect the multi-agency approach underpinning this work.

If you are planning on staying the night before the event, contact cpdofficer@iasw.ie for information on the delegate rate for B&B at the hotel.
