This full day workshop is a collaboration between Barnardos and the IASW. It will be facilitated by Áine Costello and Miriam McAuliffe from Barnardos’ and puts a focus on the perspectives of children living with CDVA. It will address three key areas:
- Taking the time to reflect on what children are sharing about their lived experiences of CDVA
- How to apply to your role, what we’ve learned from children about their experiences, to better support them
- Barnardos’ approach to CDVA and how you can engage with a community-coordinated approach in responding to children and families
The workshop is open to all professionals working with children and families to reflect the multi-agency approach underpinning this work.
