Every year Social Care Ireland asks our members, social care workers, managers, educators and students to send in their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) needs. Are their any emerging practice issues that you require CPD?

It is enormously helpful in supporting us to plan and organise events, workshops and conferences, so that we can meet these needs. On an annual basis (September) the CPD Coordinator gathers this information through a survey and through our different working and advisory groups. We go through an applications process and endeavour to secure additional funding from the National Health and Social Care professionals Office so we can keep the cost to a minimum for our members.
