Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015: Update since commencement

 

 

The HSE National Office for Human Rights and Equality Policy based in Strategy and Research aims to build the capacity and capability of staff to achieve compliance with human rights policy and legislation.

 

A webinar will take place on Wednesday 14th June from 2pm – 3.30pm and will focus on providing an update on what has happened since commencement and the changes that have occurred in practice. The webinar will focus on how and when to interact with the DSS, the Codes of Practice, the DSS Register, wardship transition, the Courts Service and the Nursing Home Support Scheme.

 

The objectives of the webinar series are to:

  • Stimulate discussion about practical implementation of the 2015 Act
  • Provide guidance to services and practitioners
  • Support staff development and learning.
