Job Title: Project Worker – Full Time, Project Worker – Part Time
Job Location: Dublin City Centre
Responsibilities include:
Work activities.
· Assess service users’ needs, including assessing level of drug and/or alcohol use to enable development of appropriate support using the HSE Comprehensive Needs Assessment Tool
· Maintain an active caseload and all related record keeping (HRB/eCass)
· Provide crisis intervention, keyworking, case management and group work
· Group facilitation with relevant subject to target group.
· Maintain all relevant documentation
· Attend and participate in relevant case management/interagency meetings
· Attend training as required
· Attend supervision as required on regular basis – both group and individual
· Attending meetings as required and present verbal and written reports.
· Undertake other duties as and when requested.
With an additional particular interest in Community Development, including but not limited to:-
· Developing a community profile of the area in which Chrysalis operates to assist in the development of a community engagement plan
· Develop and implementing community-based programs and initiatives to raise awareness about addiction issues, prevention strategies, and available support services
· Ensure that Chrysalis’s programmes and initiatives are operating from a Human Rights approach that enables empowerment amongst its clients
· Build and maintain partnerships with local community stakeholders encouraging working together through a collective interagency approach
· Organise and facilitate community events that provide information and promote Chrysalis as a service
· Conduct outreach activities to engage with the local marginalized population and ensure equitable access to addiction treatment and support services
· Collect and analyse data on community needs, trends in addiction prevalence, and the effectiveness of intervention strategies to inform program development and improvement
· Stay informed about emerging trends, research findings, and best practices in addiction treatment, harm reduction, and community development to inform program planning and decision-making.
Criteria:
· Essential:
· Professional qualifications and experience as follow:
· A minimum of a Level 7 qualification or Third Level qualification in the field of addiction, rehabilitation, social care, community development, social science, psychology, sociology, or another equivalent is mandatory.
· Substantial experience of working within a community-based addiction/homeless/rehabilitation/community service would be necessary.
· Substantial experience of interagency and multi-disciplinary work
· Excellent knowledge of boundaries and confidentiality.
· Experience in eCASS/HRB would be an advantage.

Salary: Salary Range – €36,091 – €38,978
